Duston Sports Centre - Opening end of September 2012Please note - The previous promoted opening day on 28 July has now been cancelled.
Show rounds of the centre will be available from 20 August 2012 on
Mondays & Wednesdays 
5.30-7.30pm

New sports centre is on Cotswold Avenue, Duston NN5 6DP - On the West side of Northampton - within easy access of junction 16 of the M1

Northampton Leisure Trust in partnership withDuston Parish Council will operate the centre, which will include a Trilogy Health & Fitness Gym and studio with a full fitness class programme, 4 court main hall, bar and function area and 2 sportspitches.

Forum Cinema

The new August/September Forum Cinema brochure is now out. 

Films include Anna Karenina, Hope Springs with Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones, 360 with Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and Anthony Hopkins, The Dark knight Rises and The Amazing Spiderman.


Kids Screens for the Summer include: Ice Age 4,

4th Annual Northampton Leisure Trust Sports Awards: Guildhall - Northampton - Thursday 11thOctober 2012 
The purpose of the evening is to celebrate and recognise the wealth of sporting talent and successes in Northampton over the past 12 months. 
There are 13 different categories which include awards for sportsmen / women, team / club of the year, volunteers, leaders, coaches and schools!! Closing date for nomination forms is 12pm Friday 7th September 2012. 3 Week Celebration of Sport
Mon 23 July - Sun 12 August,  
11am - 3pm Daily

To coincide with the Olympic Games, come down to Newland Walk on the ground floor of the Grosvenor Centre and try out a variety of sports and games.  There will also be a daily timetable of activities led by local clubs and qualified coaches.

Great way for kids to have their first taste of athletics. Participating youngsters are encouraged to run, jump and throw, the three base skils required of any athlete.

Come and watch the Olympic on the big screen and enjoy and enjoy a family day.
 (play some traditional playground games and view the Olympic exhibition provided by Corby Heritage Centre 10.00 am - 2.00 pm)
