  1. Robinson's have been part of the Wimbledon tennis championships a tradition since 1935 when Barley Water first appeared on the umpire's chair. For over 70 years, The Championships have been refreshed by Robson's, with players, officials, ball boys and ball girls, and spectators alike.

  3. Sir Winston Churchill was a British politician who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. His regular hobbies was painting and bricklaying.
  4. David Bowie,Musician, Singer-songwriter, record producer, actor. Wore a lightening flash on his face on his Aladdin Sane album 1973.
  5. Lord Byron's daughter , Ada Byron, Countess Of Lovelace was a pioneer in computing, it was in 1828 when she produced a design for a flying machine.
  6. If a French person says 'Je Mange' he or she means they are eating.
  7. "Bring Me My Chariot Of Fire" is a line from a patriotic song called "Jerusalem.
  8. A scene from a TV show exciting enough to be discussed in the office the next day is known as a 'Water Cooler Moment'.
  9. Edith Wharton gave the name 'Buccaneers' to American Heiresses who came to England to find husbands in the 19th Century.
  10. Harold Nicholson and Vita Sackville-West created the garden at Sissinghurst  Castle in Kent UK.
