A festival and exhibition organised by the Northampton Bangladeshi Association took place from 12pm to 3pm today in the playground behind the old post office building to raise awareness of the community. The event was attended by people from all ethnic backgrounds, who viewed the stalls, danced to the music and watched performances by local artists. Children played on the bouncy castle and there was also a rodeo ride for the adults. DJs and music were provided by Inspiration FM and the event was hosted by Inspiration's Mark Dean with Seema from the Ladies Talk show dancing to 200 spectators.
