WHAT'S ON NORTHAMPTON JUNE TO JULY 2012



 What's going on at the Museums, Forum Cinema, Leisure Centres and other arts and cultural facilities in the Northampton until July 31st 2012. 
Duston Sports Centre - Due to Open July 2012A new sports centre is being built in the heart of Duston on Cotswold Avenue. (On the West side of Northampton - within easy access of junction 16 of the M1)
Northampton Leisure Trust in partnership withDuston Parish Council will operate the centre, which will include a Trilogy Health & Fitness Gym and studio with a full fitness class programme, 4 court main hall, bar and function area and 2 full size sports pitches.The opening is currently planned for July 28 and pre-sales of memberships will be availble one month before.

Forum Cinema

The new June/July Forum Cinema brochure is now out. Films include Dark Shadows, The Raid, Moonrise Kingdom, Prometheus Tom Cruise in Rock of Ages and to celebrate the Olympics the new British film Fast Girls and Chariots of Fire.

Summer 3v3 Basketball Competition
Basketball players aged 16 years and above are being invited to sign up for Northampton Leisure Trust’s summer 3v3 basketball league competition. The sessions start on 20th June and run for around 8-10 weeks. The round-robin style fixtures will be played on the outdoor basketball courts at the Racecourse from 6-7pm every Wednesday.
