'Freecycle' is a not for profit website created on May 1st 2003 by Deron Beal
from Arizona USA, who decided, why waste landfill sites with working
used household goods, when other people could make use of them.
Give your unwanted items for free to people to use and you too
could find goods you don't have and receive them in quite the same way.
So Deon sent emails to 40 friends and made his first circle of exchange
asking them to join his new website.
Deon Beal's Mission statement:
"Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources & eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community."
