Don’t miss your chance to be part of the Christmas Quarter

Northampton Borough Council have a few places  left on the new Christmas Quarter and traders, charities and community groups are being urged to grab the chance to join Northampton’s seasonal celebrations.

The quarter is an exciting edition to Northampton’s Christmas celebrations and will be made up of 12 log cabins situated in the heart of the town centre.
The cabins are available for hire and anyone who sells crafts, speciality food, art, vintage goods or Christmas gifts is being urged to grab this chance to join in the seasonal fun. Community groups and charities selling seasonal gifts can also apply.

It costs £10 per day to hire a cabin and discounts are available for bookings of seven days or more. Charities selling Christmas items will be allowed free use on Tuesdays.
The Christmas Quarter will run from Sunday, 2 December for two weeks and stalls will be open Tuesday to Sunday.
Councillor Brandon Eldred, Cabinet member for community engagement said:
"The Christmas Quarter will be a great addition to the seasonal celebrations in Northampton. The stalls will complement the existing market traders and add another dimension to shopping in the town. If you sell specialist crafts, art, food or vintage or are a community group or charity selling seasonal gifts why not book your spot today and take advantage of this opportunity to trade in the town centre at Christmas.”

A special Frost Fair will also take place on Sunday, 2 December to celebrate the opening of the Christmas Quarter. As well as the 12 cabins, there will also be 80 stalls available for hire.

Vintage stalls from The Most Marvellous Place to Shop will be at the event and there will be a period bandstand, street entertainment, a mulled cider bar and a food hall.
