National Adoption Week 2012

This week the spotlight is on adoption as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of National Adoption Week (5th - 11th November).
With the ever increasing number of children in care, our need for adoptive families and permanent foster carers is bigger than it's ever been.
There are many children across the county of all ages who are waiting for an adoptive family of their own to grow, develop and learn with, have fun with, and most importantly to give them the stability they need as they grow into adults.
Northamptonshire County Council, (N.C.C)welcomes applications from anyone aged 21 and over who can provide a loving home to take on this challenging but incredibly rewarding role.
N.C.C. offer quality support and training for our adoptive parents and permanent foster carers and encourage anyone who is thinking about it to make the all important enquiry to find out more.
