Armed with raging fiddle and rampant imagination, Seth Lakeman takes the established folk orthodoxy and turns it on its head. The spirit of a rock band meets the timeless and heartfelt subject matter of the folk tale in a blur of fiddle, acoustic guitar and foot-stomping rhythms that charm audiences to their feet.
The West Country singer has been credited with widening the folk music audience since his 2005 Mercury Award Nomination, and is now looking forward to a new chapter that is being opened in his passionate, exhilarating and intriguing chronicles. Chasing the story tales of his three hit albums Kitty Jay, Freedom Fields and Poor Man’s Heaven comes Seth’s fourth album, Hearts and Minds. This concert will be a sensational combination of all of Seth’s music, both old and new.
