Challenge 125?

As part of a year long series of Challenge 125 fundraising  events marking the
125th anniversary of its Royal auditorium, Royal & Derngate is staging a
Karaoke evening on Saturday 27 March.

This fun-filled Karaoke session will take place in Royal & Derngate’s
Underground 1 & 2 from 8pm till 11.30pm on Saturday 27 March,
enabling audience members from that evening’s performance of Abba Mania to join in
the fun after the show.
Tickets for the event will cost £1.25 (ticket holders for Abba Mania admitted free)
and there will be a charge of £1.25 for each song request.

The event is supported by Fit Dog Recording Studio, who have donated the fantastic
top prize of a three hour recording session in their studios based in Gayton,
for a raffle that will be drawn at the end of the evening.
Visit www.fit-dog.com for more information about the studio.

All the money raised for Challenge 125 during the year will go directly back into the
future artistic programme for the Royal stage, giving the theatre the chance to
develop the ambition and range of the work produced there.

Challenge 125 has brought together staff and board members and supporters of the theatre
to participate in events ranging from abseiling to marathons, and from frock swaps and
pub quizzes to sponsored slimming. So far nearly £65,000 has been raised and other
events still to come include a sponsored walk from London to Northampton, a massed choir
event and a Gala Dinner which brings the year’s activities to an end on Saturday 8 May.

Tickets for the Karaoke evening on Saturday 27 March can be booked in advance by
calling the Box Office on 01604 624811 or by visiting www.royalandderngate.co.uk.
Tickets will also be available to buy on the door on the night.
